Why parental controls matter
Parental controls help you guide your child’s experience on Kiddies by filtering content, setting boundaries, and keeping everything aligned with your family’s preferences.
Accessing parental controls
Go to your account settings and select the child profile you want to manage. From there, tap on “Parental & Security” to view available options.
What you can control
- Content filters: Choose which types of stories or themes are allowed.
- Reading level: Limit content to a specific difficulty range.
- Session limits: Set daily time limits for reading or app usage.
Setting up filters
Use toggles to include or exclude topics based on what you feel is appropriate. You can adjust these anytime as your child grows or interests change.
Using story review mode
Enable review mode to preview all generated stories before they appear in your child’s feed. This gives you full control over what content is approved.
Keep communication open
Parental controls are most effective when combined with conversations. Talk with your child about their stories, answer questions, and explore the experience together.
